Andy, her husband Daniel, and her daughter Rachel
There are three things that you should know about me: I’m a nerd, I’m a homemaker, and I’m a writer. I guess you should also know my name and location. I’m Annaliese Lemmon (Andy for short) and I live in the Seattle Washington area. As proof of my nerdiness, I have a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University. While at BYU, I was very active in the science-fiction/fantasy club, and got exposed to things such as D&D, l33t, and anime.
As a homemaker, I am currently planning out how to teach my children to take over the world. (The first of said children arrived November 13, 2007). I will do this by passing on my smart genes, and teaching them myself how to program (though I will also teach them that it is not good to hack into their teachers’ computers to change their grades). I don’t mind “wasting” my college education, because being at home for my kids is what I’ve always wanted to do.
When my kids are napping or at school, I will spend my time working on my stories. I’ve been writing ever since elementary school, though I have yet to be published. I’m hoping to change that soon. Mostly, I write fantasy, because that’s what I love to read. If you want to know what my writing’s like, then you should look at my favorite authors because I hope to take the traits I like from them. They include Brandon Sanderson, Shannon Hale, and Garth Nix.

Shannon Hale is one of my favorite authors too. I look forward to reading your work someday. Good luck with the first of said children, by the way.
I love Shannon Hale! She’s an amazing author. I’ve heard of Garth Nix, but never read any of his. I hope that your writing goes well.
Thanks for your well wishes! Glad to see more Shannon Hale fans.
I couldn’t see a “contact me” place on your blog, so I thought I’d mention here that I responded to your comment on my blog about suspense. Thanks for checking in.
I haven’t put a “contact me” place on my blog, because I didn’t think anyone would want to email me instead of commenting. I also wanted to avoid any spam putting a link up would generate.
I was going to change this eventually (probably when I start submitting my novels places) but I’ll think about changing it sooner.
All right, I finally put a contact me on here. Let me know if there are any issues with it.
